Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 11, 2026
StandupCRM values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have when using our website and services.
Information We Collect
- Contact data: name, email, phone number, and message details you submit through quote, appointment, contact, or dashboard forms.
- Service data: device details (brand/model/issue), appointment information, and service history.
- Transaction data: records related to service requests, communications, and operational logs.
- Technical data: browser/device metadata, approximate IP-based telemetry, and security logs used to operate and protect the service.
Google OAuth and Business Profile Data
If you connect your Google account, we request only the scopes needed for the feature, including https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage, to allow posting campaign content to your Google Business Profile location(s).
- We use connected Google access only to authenticate you and publish requested content.
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising.
- We do not share Google user data with third parties except service providers required to operate the service.
- We do not use Google user data to train machine-learning or AI models.
- Google user data is not read by humans except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where it has been aggregated and anonymised.
StandupCRM's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect a connected Google account at any time from the StandupCRM dashboard or from Google's own account security settings. Either action immediately revokes our access, and the stored tokens are deleted.
Social for Shops and YouTube
Social for Shops (socialforshops.com) is StandupCRM's social posting product for local businesses. It signs in with Google under the StandupCRM name, so the Google consent screen shows "StandupCRM" when you connect a Google Business Profile or a YouTube channel there. This policy and the Social for Shops privacy policy both apply to that product.
Social for Shops uses YouTube API Services. If you connect a YouTube channel:
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload is used only to upload a video that you choose, to your own channel, when you press Post.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly is used only to read your channel's name and ID, so the app can show which channel is connected.
- We do not read, edit, or delete your other videos, comments, subscribers, or analytics, and the limits on Google user data listed above apply to YouTube data in full.
- Channel details are refreshed when you open the connection status and are deleted, with the stored tokens, when you disconnect.
By using the YouTube connection you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can also revoke Social for Shops' access at any time from your Google security settings.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide quotes, repairs, appointments, and customer support.
- Send transactional communications related to your requests.
- Operate social publishing workflows that you explicitly trigger.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
SMS Communications
We send SMS messages in two situations: (1) when you contact a business by calling one of our tracking numbers (for example, from a Google Ads listing), you may receive a text message with your repair quote and related service updates as a follow-up to your call; and (2) when you opt in through a web form at standupcrm.com/sms. Your phone number is used only for these transactional messages, or for marketing messages where you have separately opted in. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help. Mobile opt-in information and SMS consent are never shared with, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Call Recording
Calls placed to our tracking numbers may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance, training, and to prepare and send your written quote. Where required by law, callers are informed at the beginning of the call that it may be recorded; by continuing the call, you consent to the recording. Recordings are stored securely and retained only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
StandupCRM does not sell personal information. We may share data with trusted processors that help us operate the service (for example hosting, messaging, analytics, and authentication providers), and only for legitimate business purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for service delivery, legal compliance, security, and record-keeping. OAuth tokens and related connection metadata are retained while your account remains connected or until you request deletion/disconnect.
Your Choices and Rights
- You may disconnect Google access from your account dashboard at any time.
- You may revoke app access from your Google Account permissions page.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
