Free Revenue Goal Calculator

Turn a revenue goal into a weekly plan — enter your monthly or annual target and your average job value to see exactly how many jobs you need to book.

An annual goal is spread over 52 weeks, a monthly goal over ~4.3. If the weekly pace looks impossible, raise the average job value and watch it drop.

A revenue goal only becomes useful when you translate it into something you can act on this week. “$120,000 a year” is abstract; “ten jobs a week” is a plan you can check every Friday. This calculator does that translation: divide your revenue goal by your average job or sale value, and you get the number of jobs you need for the period, per week, and the revenue each week has to bring in.

Pick a monthly or annual goal, then enter the goal amount and what a typical job is worth to you. The calculator returns the total jobs needed, the jobs per week to stay on pace (an annual goal is spread over 52 weeks, a monthly goal over about 4.3), and the weekly revenue that pace represents. Everything updates as you type, so you can test how a higher average ticket changes the workload.

Worked example: a $120,000 annual goal with a $250 average job means 480 jobs a year — about 9.3 jobs a week, or roughly two per working day. If that pace is not realistic, you have exactly two levers: raise the average job value or book more jobs. Lift the average ticket to $400 — through add-ons, service bundles or better pricing — and the same goal needs just 300 jobs, under six a week. Seeing both levers side by side is the whole point of working backwards from the goal.

The weekly jobs number is also a lead-flow target: if you close half your quotes, ten jobs a week means twenty quotes a week. StandupCRM tracks your quotes, bookings and revenue against exactly this kind of pace, so you know by Wednesday whether the week is on track. This free calculator is the quick, no-login way to set the target.

Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate how many sales I need to reach my revenue goal?

Divide the revenue goal by your average sale or job value. A $10,000 monthly goal with a $250 average job is 40 jobs a month — about 9 a week. Enter your numbers above and this tool does it instantly.

How many jobs a week do I need to make $100k a year?

That depends on your average job value. At $250 a job, $100,000 a year is 400 jobs — about 8 a week. At $500 a job it is 200 jobs, under 4 a week. The calculator shows the weekly pace for any combination.

How do I set a realistic revenue goal for a small business?

Work backwards: add the owner pay you need, your overhead and a profit target, then check the weekly job count this calculator gives you against your real capacity. If the pace is impossible, raise your average job value or adjust the goal.

What if I can’t book that many jobs per week?

You have two levers: increase the average job value (add-ons, bundles, better pricing) or increase bookings. Raising a $250 average ticket to $350 cuts the jobs needed for the same goal by nearly 30%.

Is this revenue goal calculator free and private?

Yes — free, no signup, and it runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded or stored.
